Jewelry Care.

Certain metal and plating can tarnish over time with exposure to chemicals, moisture and sometimes more quickly due to an individual's natural skin pH levels.  Please understand, that everyone's skin can react differently to various metals, such as brass, plated/vermeil or gold-filled finishes.  It is best to know if you have any allergies to metal prior to purchasing your items, as L'Simone Collection is not liable for miscellaneous skin reactions.

We have some tips below to help maintain your jewelry with proper care and storage.

Storage:

-Store your L'Simone Collection in a cool, dry place to avoid oxidation.

-Gently wipe each piece with a jewelry cloth after each wear.

-Do not store jewelry in the open air or humidity for extended periods of time.  This can cause or will cause jewelry to tarnish quickly.

-Jewelry can be stored in a jewelry box, regular box, drawer, providing you store each piece in a small individual zip-lock bags.  (Be careful, not all plastics are good for storing jewelry.  Some plastics contain sulfur compounds which causes your jewelry to tarnish faster.)

-Any delicate items should be stored appropriately to avoid tangling.

Care:

Some common examples:

-Chemicals: sunscreen, perfume, lotions, hairspray, cosmetics, chlorine.

-Moisture: humidity, water, perspiration, sea water.

It's recommended to put your jewelry on last to minimize contact with these chemicals and should your item get wet, make sure to dry it off immediately to reduce the risk of oxidation.
